Our mission trip to Mozambique and Malawi was a great blessing in being able to share ministry with the believers there and meet folk who are standing firm for Jesus despite hardships . The Lord blessed His word to me as well by relying on the Holy Spirit to give me the words to share what  he wanted for each different fellowship and every message was different with him leading me.

Swakopmund Outreach

18 to 20 November 2016

What a testimony of how God has brought about a ministry opportunity in Swakopmund Namibia! Olga’s heart was completely changed through the Word in one of the fellowships in Cape Town round 5 years ago. Now, through the grace of God, she has settled with her husband Pieter in Swakopmund and has been yearning for the same teachings and ministries that she had in Cape Town to happen there. By the working of our Lord Jesus, the Head of the Church, a beautiful long term ministry began in this little town 1800km from Cape Town on Friday the 18th of November 2016.

We were welcomed into a guest house environment that offered a close to town yet secluded and tranquil environment to preach concerning the End Times. The "Be Still" accommodation offered a small hall where Francois and Rupert ministered the Word. As there were predominantly Afrikaans people Francois took the lead and delivered the word on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Rupert took over again on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

The friendly and insistent attention of a porter greeted us on our arrival at Blantyre.  Some quick negotiations as to the fare for a trip into the city and we were on our way.  All along the road there are shops and trading posts where people are doing their best to make a living.  It seems that the national slogan in Malawi is “We are trying”!

What a joy to get to the meeting hall in Chirimba area for the first session of the “Bible School” and find some 50 brethren waiting eagerly to begin.  The welcome statement by brother Fredson emphasised that “we be brethren – working together as a team”.  From the Scottish and English missionaries, working in Malawi in the past, they know all about reverends, supervisors, bishops, cardinals etc.  We have a different application altogether, recognising God given gifts we are “labourers together with God”.  It is God’s husbandry and God’s building (1 Cor 3:9).

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;” – Mark 16: 15-16

Elizabeth1A few new folk have been added to our fellowship in the last few months and on Thursday the 6th of November 2014 two of our group were baptised.

Elizabeth Matthee testified that she had recently become a believer and was excited about her new found faith and even though she had just had an operation on her right arm and was all bandaged up, she was not going to let that stop her from being baptised
